My Journey with the Reststation Lounge … (3)

A friend came to visit.  She’s been out of work for about 3 months and was getting really depressed about getting a new job.  She was having a hard time getting out of bed, dressed to do anything, and going out.  In other words, low ambition and desire to do anything.

Kay (which is what I’ll call my friend) agreed to try a session on the Reststation Lounge.  She is one of the original non-believers in this type of stuff (as she would say).  However, she knew something needed to change in how she felt and was willing to give it a try.

I find people are willing to try something out of their comfort zone when they are DESPERATE and the alternatives look bleak.  Otherwise, they’ll hang onto their discomfort as long as they possibly can even though the medical community might be repeatedly putting a band-aid on the symptoms vs. treating the original problem in the emotional body or energy field.

Do you have any comments or experiences on this?  Can you relate or disagree with this statement?

I can relate as I’ve been desperate in the past, consumed by pain and then went to sound and vibrational medicine as the alternative.  Now, I do things the other way around.  I still believe both traditional medicine and alternative medicine need to work hand in hand for treating the whole person for optimal healing.

Reststation Lounge

Kay laid on the lounge.  I asked her to place her hands palm down on the lounge and put the headphones on her head.  The neck pillow in place and a blanket over her completed the process after testing volume.  She crossed her ankles.  I reminded her to take some deep breaths to shift things energetically when she felt she needed to do it.  She agreed to do so.

Her session was:  Lifting Depression and lasted 20 minutes

After she completed the session, I asked her to just lay there and absorb for a few minutes before moving and let the sound and vibration settle.  When she joined me in the other room, she looked different.  Some of the lines in her face were gone and she looked more relaxed.  After drinking some water, (I recommend this for grounding) we discussed what she felt or didn’t feel during the session.  She said she was feeling less anxious, more patient and more relaxed.

I thought okay.  About an hour later, Kay said she was pretty tired and was heading home.  That told me the vibrational energy was still working on a deeper level.  I called the next day to check in with her.  She said she was really tired and had gone to bed early.  She slept like a rock.  She said she woke up the next morning in a great mood and was noticing how much more patient she was driving (this is a BIG deal for Kay) and happier in general.

A week later, I asked Kay if she could share feedback about the Reststation Lounge session.  She said she was shocked that she was still enjoying the benefits of feeling happier, more patient and generally in a better mood.  This was a week after the 20m session.

I told her she would soon have a job and to expect it in November.  I am happy to say this happened and she is starting her new job next week.
