My Journey with the Reststation Lounge (8)

My next session with the Reststation Lounge…

Lymphedema with Lymph Support – about 46 minutes

Today I’m doing two sessions and I chose this one first.

I’ve been feeling my Lymph system needs support for awhile now.  I thought this session might help clear some of the side effects from prescribed pharmaceuticals for migraines and nerve pain.

During this session, different phases took me to different levels.  The vibrations in the lounge were settled at my hips and butt and down my legs.  I could feel the lymph in my groin area and at the top of my thighs vibrate.  Other strong lymph areas – under arms, side of throat and lower/length of ribcage didn’t feel the vibrations at this time.  I kept waiting for the vibrations to rise up the bed with the sound levels to the upper lymph areas in the body.  However, this didn’t happen.

I think crystals could help raise the vibration to the other lymph areas. I’ll share these findings with Gary Ferguson (the designer and manufacturer of the Lounge) and see if any changes could be made to the Lounge or if they have already been made with the newer models.  I see potentials to helps with the grid of the energy field flow and attunement with the sound and frequencies of the treatment.

I looked to find a complementary pairing to this session for release on an energetic level.  I want to build on one another just as I would in an individual sound session to treat the mind, body, spirit on three energetic levels.

Second Session Today

Addiction – Duration = 23:40

During the beginning of this treatment, I felt extreme agitation.  Sound was disruptive and not soothing at all until the waves started coming in.

I felt like something was wrong with the connection and the sound treatment and determined to check it later.

So funny, I just posted this and realized I obviously wasn’t supposed to do the other session on top of the one I had just done.  However, that didn’t come clear in the session at all.

(Second Attempt at this Session – Addiction – Duration = 23:40

What a different session this was.  It was soothing and calming when I did it on it’s own.  I noticed just a humming sound and vibration for the first minute or so, then music/sound and vibration started.  I noted different thoughts and feelings coming up and just observed and consciously released.

My focus and objective was to notice, not understand at that moment.   I believe addictions are rooted in the emotional body and I am treating whole bodies today – nerves, addictions, and energy body.

What are your beliefs about this?  Please comment below…

My next session with the Reststation Lounge…

Children of the New Earth – about 50 minutes

Honestly, I chose this session because I feel like I am one and might need a tune up in this area. 😊

It felt really long to me.  I don’t know if I had it set up right or not.  I kept waiting for the vibration which never happened.  At one point my entire face and head had a very hot, tight feeling.

I even reached up and touched my face.  I feel very tired and am going to lie down.  My ears feel tight.  This comment sounds weird even to me; and I’m a little dizzy.  Although I have been off-balance because of a previous injury.

This makes me realize I’ve had a rebalancing of my energies and a re-alignment of my vibration.

Have you experienced something like this before?  How?  Please leave a comment below.

My next session with the Reststation Lounge…

Muscle Pain and Injury – duration 53:43 min

I decided to try the Muscle Pain and Injury session again now that my adrenals were balanced.  When I woke up this morning, I ached all over.  Literally, it felt like I had been run over by a truck and was just picking myself up off the ground.

Although the good news was the migraine was gone; I could barely move my head and neck.  I found my joints, ankles, knees, back, arms wrists all were in major pain to move.  I had done this same session 3 sessions ago with the adrenal stimulation in between.  Yesterday was a very busy day with a late night.  When I tried to set up a different treatment it wouldn’t work (or the Universe would not cooperate with my plan).

Have you ever had that happen?  When you had a plan and the Universe wouldn’t cooperate with it?  Please comment and tell me about it?

I did the treatment.  After it was completed, I could only go to bed.  I have a big day tomorrow, so I’m hoping to feel a big change.  Although I’ve had lots of injuries and muscle pains over the years, I found all the areas that were aching so much had sustained these injuries, breaks, surgeries and trauma.

The next morning I felt much better.  I know when I was sleeping the frequencies were working on a deeper level and in the morning I could definitely feel the shift.

My Journey With the Reststation Lounge (5)

My next session with the Reststation Lounge…

Adrenal Stimulant – duration 19:55 minutes

After this session I felt discombobulated.  It was hard to write now and I had to take a break for water and grounding.

At first, I was worried it wasn’t working right because there was no vibration happening in the lounge.  I got up, checked the settings and restarted the session.  Still no vibration.  I decided to let go of that and listened to the sounds.  I realized I liked it louder as I wanted to be immersed in the sounds.  As soon as I did, I discovered I could feel the sound in the headset resonating in my adrenals.  A few minutes later, the Lounge started vibrating.  This was focused mostly at the base of my spine; although my adrenals were where I first recognized the frequencies and vibrations.

Every time I heard and felt the vibration and frequencies at my adrenals it was like they were being shaken awake.  The words “jump started” came to mind, like a battery that was dead being re-charged.

The vibration then started moving down my legs which were crossed R over L.  I heard the ocean and would breathe deeply and release quickly each time.  Then it shifted to another level – upper back and adrenals.  I changed my legs and crossed L over R.  Heard the ocean again and deep breaths (3x) with a quick release.

Vibration moved back to the base of my spine and into my adrenals.  I uncrossed my legs and found myself off-kilter in more than 2 places at once.  Then it came into balance.

I thought this was very interesting and definitely related to the crossing/uncrossing of the ankles.  It felt more balanced and evened-out after uncrossing.  Like something opened and shifted and flowed more evenly.

I saw more visuals with this treatment.  A man was handing something to me, although I couldn’t tell what.  It was like a video running in my peripheral vision until I looked at it.  Then it stopped.

I look forward to hearing from you.

My Journey with the Reststation Lounge … (4)

My next session with the Reststation Lounge…

I decided to do a session with Muscle Pain and Injury which lasts about 53 minutes.

I noticed there were distinct levels and shifts in the sound and vibrational frequencies in this session.  I started with ankles crossed right over left.  Palms down. ¾ setting on sound and vibration.

I could feel the vibration in my hands, and hips down my legs for the first set/level of the treatment.

Then, it moved to my hips, midsection and lower back in the second set/level of the treatment.  My heart – I could feel the frequency and sound swell in my chest and it made me take a few deep breaths and let go.  This just happened on my own.  It felt natural to do so.

I noticed ocean waves were included but also signaled moving to another level with the treatment.  At that time, I uncrossed my ankles and switched left over right.  Again, just went with my guidance and did what felt right.  I felt very grounded and alert in sound when listening to the ocean waves, yet barely able to move from the vibration in my body.

The next set (shift) in sound and frequency I found myself wishing the frequency would go to my neck, head and above.  It didn’t do that.  So at that point in time, I consciously began running energy through my field (I teach this) to open earth/cosmic clearing of my energy including my head and neck in alignment with the sound and vibrations from the Lounge.

It shifted to another level in the sound/vibration (set).  After running energy, I could feel vibration rise above my heart to the throat level and I toned out loud some sacred name vowels taught by Jonathan Goldman.

Next set – Gold Light burst in my head and colors and visions started pulsing with sound and vibrations.  Ocean waves again.  I could see pictures moving so fast I couldn’t really make sense of them.  As a clairvoyant I often ‘see’ things like this but it felt like a cleansing had happened.

I took 3 deep breaths in with a quick exhale three times in a row.  I uncrossed my ankles and legs and immediately felt more vibrations in my legs then.  Thoughts were:  I wanted it to stop as it felt too long to me.  Then a short interval and the next step started.  I felt each level (set) in body and accumulated years of pain shift and crack open.  I was not re-experiencing the pain, but feeling the shift as the energy opened up.

The intervals of ocean waves and sounds are the vibrations that reached my head.  I was wanting a crystal grid in the Lounge to channel vibrations to my entire energetic field in an up/down flow in addition to the levels  (sets) that moved the frequencies around.

It made me think of the amethyst crystals in the Biomat (sessions offered at Above and Beyond Wellness Center) and how to incorporate crystals in the Lounge as conductors of sound and vibration into the bed at top and bottom to better include the head and energetic field in the sound frequency treatment.  I had ideas on how to connect them for electromagnetic balancing as well.

Aside –

I was looking at treating myself on the Lounge as I would a client in a treatment.  If I wanted to work on my nerve impingement in my neck, then I would have levels to include in the treatment.  I started with the muscle pain and injury for any past injuries associated with my neck and this area of my body.  My thinking was to treat this layer first as a foundation and build on that.

My Journey with the Reststation Lounge … (3)

A friend came to visit.  She’s been out of work for about 3 months and was getting really depressed about getting a new job.  She was having a hard time getting out of bed, dressed to do anything, and going out.  In other words, low ambition and desire to do anything.

Kay (which is what I’ll call my friend) agreed to try a session on the Reststation Lounge.  She is one of the original non-believers in this type of stuff (as she would say).  However, she knew something needed to change in how she felt and was willing to give it a try.

I find people are willing to try something out of their comfort zone when they are DESPERATE and the alternatives look bleak.  Otherwise, they’ll hang onto their discomfort as long as they possibly can even though the medical community might be repeatedly putting a band-aid on the symptoms vs. treating the original problem in the emotional body or energy field.

Do you have any comments or experiences on this?  Can you relate or disagree with this statement?

I can relate as I’ve been desperate in the past, consumed by pain and then went to sound and vibrational medicine as the alternative.  Now, I do things the other way around.  I still believe both traditional medicine and alternative medicine need to work hand in hand for treating the whole person for optimal healing.

Reststation Lounge

Kay laid on the lounge.  I asked her to place her hands palm down on the lounge and put the headphones on her head.  The neck pillow in place and a blanket over her completed the process after testing volume.  She crossed her ankles.  I reminded her to take some deep breaths to shift things energetically when she felt she needed to do it.  She agreed to do so.

Her session was:  Lifting Depression and lasted 20 minutes

After she completed the session, I asked her to just lay there and absorb for a few minutes before moving and let the sound and vibration settle.  When she joined me in the other room, she looked different.  Some of the lines in her face were gone and she looked more relaxed.  After drinking some water, (I recommend this for grounding) we discussed what she felt or didn’t feel during the session.  She said she was feeling less anxious, more patient and more relaxed.

I thought okay.  About an hour later, Kay said she was pretty tired and was heading home.  That told me the vibrational energy was still working on a deeper level.  I called the next day to check in with her.  She said she was really tired and had gone to bed early.  She slept like a rock.  She said she woke up the next morning in a great mood and was noticing how much more patient she was driving (this is a BIG deal for Kay) and happier in general.

A week later, I asked Kay if she could share feedback about the Reststation Lounge session.  She said she was shocked that she was still enjoying the benefits of feeling happier, more patient and generally in a better mood.  This was a week after the 20m session.

I told her she would soon have a job and to expect it in November.  I am happy to say this happened and she is starting her new job next week.

The Reststation Lounge Journey Continues(2)

My first self-session on the Lounge:

I remembered a conversation with Gary where he suggested I cross my ankles during the sound and vibrational sessions on the Lounge.  I thought it was funny because it went against everything I was doing in my own personal sessions with clients.  I would ask people to uncross arms and legs for energy flow.  This gave me a chance to connect with them psychically and read their energy field as a High Self Channel.  (I teach this class).  It also allowed the energy being released to easily flow out of the body and the field.  For me, this was contraindicative to what I’d been doing for the last 25 years with energy work.  I’m nothing if not an adventurer!

How about you?  What have you done adventurously with sound and vibration lately?

I digress.

The first session I chose to do was the one I was interested in doing with my form of sound and vibrational therapy with Veterans…for PTSD.  On the Reststation Lounge this was a 30 minute treatment.  My intention was set to experience the treatment and evaluate it from my perspective as sound practitioner and teacher. Additionally, what way I would treat someone and experience the Lounge for what it offered and write about it.

I decided when I finished the session, I would sit and make my notes before I moved.

I did as instructed.  I shut off the lights, got a blanket, chose the appropriate program, put on the headphones, adjusted the volume and vibration, placed the neck pillow, put my hands palms down on the Lounge and crossed my ankles.  Then I pushed play.

This first session for PTSD – I fell asleep!  I woke up an hour and a half later!  I don’t remember much of anything and will try again later and document those results.

However, in my long experience as a sound and vibrational medicine therapist I know when someone has fallen asleep during a session they are receiving the healing on a much deeper level and passing the conscious mind in the process.

What you don’t know is I had recently been in the hospital for a pinched nerve in my neck and severe migraines going on 3 weeks.  This was still happening when I did this session.  The medical community is talking about steroid injections in my head and neck.

I’m talking about sound and vibrational alternative medicine.  And that doesn’t mean sticking needles in places I don’t want them; injecting pharmaceuticals into my body in places I don’t want that either.

I can almost hear folks who’ve done things like this and found relief.  I’m not judging you or calling this procedure wrong.  All I’m saying is there’s another way to treat things as a whole person.  That is all part of what this exploration is about in my humble opinion.

    More coming …

The Reststation Lounge Journey Continues

As I started speaking with Gary Ferguson regularly, I checked out the websites and the programs offered for Veterans.

One of the conversations we had was the V.A. would rarely pay for alternative healthcare therapies.  Some of those very modalities that would go hand in hand with what healthcare the V.A. was providing for Veterans.  (Remember our prior discussion about treating the whole person:  mind, body and spirit.)

So unless a healthcare practitioner was willing to work out of the goodness of their heart, or offer reduced or discounted work they didn’t get paid.  Or couldn’t continue to offer these services for long as they couldn’t afford to do so.

Gary thought ahead about this and the commitment of the Veterans to be part of a program for wellness and well-being.  He is the expert on this and much more knowledgeable than I am about the program and how it works.  But here is the link to the website to get more information on the specifics of the program and how it works:

What Happens Next?

After checking out the websites Gary Ferguson recommended:

www.pathwaysforveterans.org and www.pathways2purpose.org

I decided I was interested in learning more and working together with Gary towards my original goal of helping and working with Veterans.

I’ve set up my home as a Wellness Center in Littleton Colorado and I am now a designated Research Center for the Reststation Lounge.

The Journey Begins

Gary flew into Denver and we met officially when I picked him up.  We went to the existing location of the Reststation Lounge in Colorado and moved it to my home.  This unit was not a portable unit but was easy to dismantle and move on dollies.  We then moved it into my home and set it up.

At that point, I was pretty tired and still needed to take Gary back to the hotel.  Mr. Ferguson suggested I do a session on the Reststation Lounge to try it out and make sure everything was working properly.

We programmed the session for “Energize & Re-Charge” which was exactly what I needed.  He sat outside in the fresh Colorado air and enjoyed the essence and ambiance of my yard while I was on the Lounge.

The instructions for a new user are pretty easy and easy to set up.  You lay on the lounge, which is at zero gravity.  You place the headphones over your ears.  The practitioner working with you will help determine the sound levels are correct and comfortable.  You place your hands palm down on the Lounge and the neck pillow behind your neck.

The practitioner starts the program and leaves the room.  For the next 20-25 minutes I listened to the sound frequencies and felt the vibrational frequencies through my palms and up/down my body.

You might be wondering how I felt?  Twenty minutes later, the program stopped.  I laid there for a few minutes to let the treatment settle, just as I would with a sound client.  I took off the headphones and sat up on the edge of the Lounge and did a personal checkin.

I realized the exhaustion was gone.  I did feel renewed and re-energized and knew without a doubt I could easily drive the 45 minutes back to the airport hotel and another 45 minutes home again.  Needless to say, I was impressed.

My agreement with Gary is to blog about my experience with the Reststation Lounge as a Sound Healer; noting my experiences, suggestions and thoughts.

My Journey as a Sound Therapist with the Reststation Lounge

In August 2017, I decided to follow an idea that I’d been tossing around for a while.  When working with group sound therapy frequencies to release stress, I realized there was a whole area of the population deeply in need of this kind of therapy:  Veterans.  I thought of the frequency combinations I would use to aid in the release of Post Traumatic Stress for Veterans and anyone who had gone through a traumatic event.  That includes just about everybody on the planet at some time or another in my opinion.  Traumatic events come in all shapes and sizes.

As the Universe would have it, plans started to come together for this to happen.  When it is right, the doors fly open.  Needless to say, we have all experienced the battle when it is MY (Your) plan instead of the Divine’s (Universe’s) Plan for you.

I started doing stress buster group sound tune UPs at my Wellness Center every week.  Even though this was a great way to experience sound and vibrational work, very few people took advantage of the opportunity.  Another sign of a closed door and to check out a different way.

I met a man in Colorado who volunteered at the V.A. and worked with Veterans.  We talked.  I asked for a few references for folks I could call about this.  He said he would let me know.

Now it’s October.  I was contacted by a man in Sacramento, CA.  His name is Gary Ferguson, a Vietnam Combat Veteran and CEO/Founder at Pathways for Veterans which is a non-profit organization founded by him in 2010. Gary is also President/Founder of Pathways 2 Purpose.  Gary and I ‘chatted’ by email a few times and I researched him on Google.  Pathways 2 Purpose is dedicated to healing the emotional and spiritual wounds of war.  Pathways 2 Purpose creates a safe environment where all veterans can experience being heard.  They are then given tools to re-purpose themselves in mind, body and spirit.

At that point Gary and I started talking about how an international sound therapist could work with, use, research and evaluate the reststation lounge.

With my abilities to ‘see’ the energetic pattern in a person’s field and how sound and vibration can change that pattern in a positive or negative way, I thought it would be interesting to try.  We both did.

I appreciated the Universe’s quick response to my request and later that same day received two local contacts at the V.A. in Colorado.

Gary and I exchanged paperwork and information.  We agreed to see what the energy around this potential alliance would bring about if anything.

Musicians Nimo Patel and Daniel Nahmod brought together dozens of people from around the world to create this beautiful, heart-opening melody. Inspired by the 21-Day Gratitude Challenge, the song is a celebration of our spirit and all that is a blessing in life. For the 21 Days, over 11,000 participants from 118 countries learned that “gratefulness” is a habit cultivated consciously and a muscle built over time. As a famous Roman, Cicero, once said, “Gratitude is not only the greatest of virtues, but the parent of all others.” This soul-stirring music video, created within a week by a team of volunteers, shines the light on all the small things that make up the beautiful fabric of our lives.
